Hatha Yoga is an art and a science that is over 5,000 years old. It is unrivalled as a means of improving bodily health, strength and suppleness, for releasing stress, improving concentration, balance, determination, mood and calming the mind.
It is practied by people of all ages and all cultures:
For those who practice yoga regulalry, vibrant good health and a sense of well being will automatically follow. Of equal importance is the principal that physical exertion and relaxation operate most effectively simultaneously. The control of breathing (Pranayama) and concentration help to accomplish this. It may even be possible that this alone is enough to sustain life.
Before, during and after your homeopathic treatment, it is therefore advisable to practise Yoga. Homeopathy can help to make you healthy, can create balance in mind and body, but it is your responsibility to maintain it! Scans 'show mindfulness meditation brain boost' 4 January 2012
The theory that meditation can reduce stress, depression and even chronic pain is one that has been gaining in momentum in recent years. So the BBC's David Sillito has been learning the art of mindfulness meditation in order to find out for himself. After getting to grips with the activity, he joined some other devotees for an MRI scan to find out what impact the practice can have on brain activity. To reward you for all your hard work practicing yoga, I offer £20 off the first appointment for all regular yoga practitioners (any form of yoga practiced at least once a week). Since homeopathy benefits most those who take an active role in their health, just the fact that you are doing yoga regularly already makes my job that much easier! In December 2011 I started a yoga teacher training course with Teach Yoga that will qualify me to teach yoga by October 2012. So watch this space! |
